I love painting all sorts of birds and animals. The first part to paint is the eye. Get that right and then be as loose as you like with the rest of it. 24/4/2013 0 Comments Thu, 11 Apr 201314/4/2013 0 Comments Sun, 14 Apr 2013Been looking at these plums in the kitchen for days. Still wet. Used three colors...ultramarine, Quin magenta and burnt sienna.
11/4/2013 0 Comments Watercolour workshop on skiesThis is a painting I did years ago. Small sketches done from photos randomly put together and given a touch of watercolour. I have written down Ultramarine Blue, Windsor Red (but looks more like burnt sienna or something) and two yellows...Indian and Transparent. Limited palette is a powerful thing so long as you leave plenty of white. Makes landscapes look great. Confident.
